Oh it is just another slight delay they say, see this CNET story. And it has to do with some performance concerns discovered in latest test versions. Should not the development be past that phase by now? The new target release date is “early 2007”. Well we should see it by May I think.
And what about Windows Vista?
It would be really nice to have joint launch of two most dominant software products after such a long pose. But who knows when they both can be ready. Perhaps mid 2007 if we are going to get a solid OS in Windows Vista.
Can Microsoft wait that long?
