Product quality vs. brand recognition

In today’s marketing crazy world good brand can still bring a ton of money to corporations. But there are some changing trends that can be seen taking hold in consumer mind. For example; rapid success of new product and their mass adoption leads to believe that quality is becoming more important then recognition.

Take two great product that enjoyed wild success almost from the start; google and skype. Their becoming part of our life was an overnight process.
